Introduction to Treatment Approaches

 

          Most accepted treatment approaches have a few things in common: Your commitment to your goal is central to their success, they're customized to work for you and your needs, and the goal of each is to empower you to make positive changes in your life.

          That said, there's a wide range of options available for anyone who decides to engage in a therapeutic process. At their most basic, the most common treatment approaches available today are based either in psychodynamic, cognitive, or behavioral theory--or combinations of the three and others.
